Accessibility Statement

RegMount's commitment to an accessible website: our WCAG 2.2 Level AA target, the measures we have taken, known limitations, and how to reach us for help or to order by phone.

Last updated: October 9, 2026

Diving is for everyone, and so is our website. RegMount is committed to making regmount.com (the “Site”) accessible and usable for as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, screen magnification or other assistive technologies, and people with low vision, color blindness, hearing loss, motion sensitivity or cognitive differences.

Need help right now? Call us at (850) 356-6770 or email [email protected]. We can answer product questions, help you check regulator fit and take your order by phone.

Our commitment

We are a small, diver-run business, and we build and maintain this Site ourselves with the help of standard, well-supported tools (WordPress and WooCommerce). We treat accessibility as an ongoing part of how we design, write and update the Site, not as a one-time project. When we add new pages, products, videos or features, we review them for accessibility before and after publishing.

Conformance target: WCAG 2.2 Level AA

Our goal is to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Conformance at Level AA is widely recognized as the standard for accessible websites in the United States and internationally.

We believe the Site substantially meets this target, with the exceptions noted under “Known limitations” below. We assess conformance through self-evaluation using automated testing tools, manual keyboard testing, screen reader spot checks and review of color contrast.

Measures we have taken

Semantic structure

Pages use semantic HTML with landmarks (header, navigation, main content, footer), a single main heading per page and a logical heading hierarchy, so screen reader users can navigate by region and heading.

Keyboard navigation

All menus, links, buttons, the cart, the checkout, forms and the regulator fit checker are designed to be fully operable with a keyboard alone, in a logical tab order and without keyboard traps.

Skip link

A “Skip to content” link is the first focusable element on every page, letting keyboard and screen reader users bypass repeated navigation.

Visible focus styles

Interactive elements show a clear, high-contrast focus indicator so you can always see where you are on the page when tabbing.

Text alternatives

Informative images, including product photos and installation images, have descriptive alt text. Purely decorative images are marked so assistive technologies skip them.

Color contrast

We choose text and background colors to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios (at least 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text and key interface components), and we do not rely on color alone to convey information.

Reduced motion

Animations and transitions respect the prefers-reduced-motion setting in your operating system or browser. If you turn on “reduce motion,” non-essential animation is minimized or switched off.

Captions and video controls

Videos never autoplay with sound. Where available, we provide captions for videos, and we describe what footage shows in the surrounding text so the key information is available without watching.

Forms and shopping

  • Form fields on our contact page, dealer application and checkout have visible, programmatically associated labels.
  • Required fields are clearly indicated, and error messages explain what needs to be fixed in text, not by color alone.
  • We avoid time limits on checkout and forms wherever our tools allow.
  • Product information, such as compatibility (second-stage body diameter of 2 3/8″ to 3 1/8″, or 60 to 80 mm) and kit contents, is provided as text rather than only within images.

Readable, flexible content

  • The Site is responsive and supports zooming to 200% and beyond without loss of content or functionality, and text reflows on narrow screens.
  • Links have descriptive text that makes sense out of context.
  • We write in plain language where we can and explain dive and camera terms when we use them.
  • The page language is identified so screen readers use the correct pronunciation.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the Site may not yet be fully accessible. We are aware of the following:

Area Limitation What we do about it
Third-party YouTube embeds The YouTube video player is controlled by YouTube, and some of its controls, captions and behavior are outside our control. Not every video has accurate captions. We load videos only when you choose to play them, describe key content in nearby text, and add or correct captions where we are able.
Older PDF documents Some older PDFs, such as legacy instructions or product sheets, may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We are replacing them with accessible HTML pages, such as our installation guide. On request, we will provide any document in an accessible format.
Third-party services Payment processor fields, the cookie consent banner and carrier tracking pages are provided by third parties. We choose providers that state a commitment to accessibility and report problems to them when we find them.
User-generated content Customer reviews and comments may include images without alt text. We review and improve this content where practical.

Feedback and contact

We welcome your feedback. If you encounter an accessibility barrier on the Site, need information in a different format, or have suggestions for improvement, please tell us. It helps to include:

  • the web address (URL) of the page;
  • a description of the problem and what you were trying to do; and
  • the browser, device and any assistive technology you were using.

You can reach us by:

Response time goal

We aim to acknowledge accessibility feedback within 2 business days and to provide a solution, workaround or plan for a fix within 10 business days. If a fix will take longer, we will keep you updated and make sure you can still get the information or products you need in the meantime.

Alternative ways to order

If any part of our online store is difficult for you to use, we are happy to help you directly. Call (850) 356-6770 and a member of our team will walk you through product options, help confirm that RegMount fits your regulator and camera, and place your order for you at the same price available online. You can also email us and we will arrange the order with you by phone or email, whichever works best.

Not sure about fit? If our interactive fit checker is hard to use with your setup, just tell us your regulator make and model by phone or email and we will check it for you.

Ongoing improvement

Accessibility standards, browsers and assistive technologies keep evolving, and so will we. We review this statement and the Site’s accessibility periodically and whenever we make significant changes. This statement was last reviewed on October 9, 2026.
