Description
Keep your RegMount secure
The clamp is what holds your RegMount adapter firmly on your regulator’s second stage, dive after dive. This is the same custom black stainless steel clamp that comes in every RegMount kit, sold on its own so you can replace a lost, bent or worn clamp without buying a whole new kit.
It’s also a smart spare to keep in your save-a-dive kit. Clamps can go missing during packing, regulator servicing or a hurried breakdown on the boat, and a spare means you won’t miss a dive’s worth of footage.
When to replace your clamp
- The clamp is bent, kinked or no longer holds its shape.
- The nut threads are damaged or the nut has been rounded off by the wrong tool.
- You see corrosion that doesn’t clean off with fresh water.
- You want a spare, or you’re moving RegMount between your primary and octopus.

What’s in the box
- 1 x RegMount stainless steel clamp (black) with metric nut
Compatibility
Designed for the RegMount adapter on regulators with a second-stage body diameter of 2 3/8″ to 3 1/8″ (60–80 mm). Always use it with the protective silicone band between the clamp and your regulator housing. Not sure about your regulator? Check our Fit Guide.
Installation tips
The clamp uses a metric nut, so use a metric wrench or nut driver. Imperial tools can round off the nut. Tighten until the adapter doesn’t twist when you push it firmly by hand: snug, not over-tight. Overtightening can deform the band or stress the regulator housing. After installing, confirm that the purge button moves freely and the exhaust is clear, and test in a pool before open water. Full steps are in our installation guide.
Care
Rinse the clamp in fresh water after every diving day, paying attention to the nut threads, and let it dry fully before storage. Check it for tightness and wear as part of your pre-dive check. Need a new chin stabilizer too? See the Comfort Chin Stabilizer.
Assembly on personal equipment is the sole responsibility of the user. RegMount is not responsible for damaged or lost equipment during use or installation. Please dive safely.
